Willie At Kirkpatricks Farm

from $45.00

I snapped the picture that this painting is based off of one morning after I dropped my son off at school. I had gone around the corner to the historica part of my home town and stumbled upon this historical site where E. W. Kirkpatrick lived and had a farm. The original barn - shown here - is still standing. This longhorn that I named Willie (after the street it’s on) was standing about 20 feet from the fence I was leaning on. What’s more than the awesome venue is E.W. Kirkpatrick himself was quite a civilian and leader. This is one of my favorite pieces because of the historic nature of this site and the fine man that lived there an made such a difference in our town and county.
